Leave X, keep your people

  1. 1Save your archive. Request a copy of your data in your account settings. It can take a while to arrive.
  2. 2Bring your people. Open an account elsewhere, post your new handle on X, and use a tool like Sky Follower Bridge to find who you follow on Bluesky.
  3. 3Cancel Premium where you bought it. Bought on X.com, it ends when you deactivate. Bought in the iOS or Android app, cancel it in that store.
  4. 4Deactivate. Settings and privacy › Your account › Deactivate. If you don't log back in within 30 days, the account is deleted.
